Let's Explore the Grand Canyon and More

Grand Canyon South Rim View What a beautiful time to visit the Grand Canyon

Grand Canyon, Arizona - May 30, 2025 Thinking about where to go this year? How about the Grand Canyon. The Grand Canyon, is located in Arizona, USA. It is one of the most breathtaking natural wonders of the world. Carved by the Colorado River over millions of years, this immense gorge stretches for 277 miles and reaches depths of over a mile. It's a destination that promises awe-inspiring views, thrilling adventures, and a deep connection with nature.

Whether you're an avid hiker, a photography enthusiast, or simply someone looking to marvel at the beauty of the great outdoors, the Grand Canyon is a must-visit travel destination. It's an Geological Marvel. The Grand Canyon is a geological masterpiece,(made by a loving God) offering a vivid display of the Earth's history. The layers of rock reveal a timeline that spans nearly two billion years, making it a living museum for geologists and curious visitors alike. The natural vibrant hues of reds, oranges, and yellows that paint the canyon walls are a testament to the various minerals and the Most High's processes that have shaped this landscape.

Here's how to visit it properly. You have options: The North and South Rims. If your visiting the South Rim. We recommend a train ride from Williams or Phoenix, Arizona. Or from Las Vegas, NV try pink jeeps tours for smaller groups and solo travelers. Just make sure you click on links, through out this blog post for travel guides that I hand crafted for you.

South Rim: The Most Accessible View

The South Rim is the most visited part of the Grand Canyon, and for good reason. It is open year-round and offers some of the most iconic viewpoints, such as Mather Point, Yavapai Observation Station, and Desert View Watchtower. The South Rim is also home to the Grand Canyon Village, where visitors can find lodging, dining, and educational exhibits at the Grand Canyon Visitor Center.

For those who prefer a more leisurely experience, the Rim Trail is a paved path that follows the edge of the canyon, providing stunning views with minimal effort. If you're feeling more adventurous, the Bright Angel Trail and South Kaibab Trail offer challenging hikes that descend into the canyon, but be prepared for a strenuous climb back up.

Grand Canyon North Rim - The North Rim offers a more secluded and tranquil experience. Due to its higher elevation, it is only accessible from mid-May to mid-October, and the facilities are more limited.

North Rim: A Secluded Escape

The North Rim offers a more secluded and tranquil experience. Due to its higher elevation, it is only accessible from mid-May to mid-October, and the facilities are more limited. However, the North Rim boasts equally breathtaking views and a sense of solitude that is hard to find at the more popular South Rim.

Now, I now there are some of you that can hike. So make sure you are hydrated and stay that way during your exploring. Popular viewpoints at the North Rim include Bright Angel Point, Point Imperial, and Cape Royal. The North Kaibab Trail is the only maintained trail that descends to the Colorado River from the North Rim, offering a challenging but rewarding hike for experienced adventurers.

Inner Canyon: A World of Adventure - For those seeking a truly immersive experience, the Inner Canyon offers a world of adventure. Rafting trips on the Colorado River provide a unique perspective of the canyon from the bottom up. These trips can range from a few days to several weeks, and they offer a thrilling way to explore the canyon's hidden gems.

Hiking to the bottom of the canyon is another unforgettable experience. The Bright Angel Trail and South Kaibab Trail are popular routes, but they require careful planning and preparation. Overnight stays at Phantom Ranch, located at the bottom of the canyon, provide a well-deserved rest and a chance to soak in the beauty of your surroundings.

Here are a few tips when visiting the Grand Canyon:

Plan Ahead: The Grand Canyon is a vast and complex destination, so it's important to plan your trip in advance. Research the various viewpoints, trails, and activities, and make reservations for lodging and guided tours as needed.

Stay Hydrated: The Grand Canyon's high elevation and dry climate can lead to dehydration. Be sure to drink plenty of water, especially if you're hiking or engaging in other physical activities.

Dress in Layers: Temperatures at the Grand Canyon can vary widely, depending on the time of year and the elevation. Dress in layers to stay comfortable, and be prepared for sudden changes in weather.

Respect the Environment: The Grand Canyon is a protected national park, and it's important to respect the environment. Stay on designated trails, pack out all trash, and follow Leave No Trace principles.

The Grand Canyon is a destination that truly lives up to its reputation. Its sheer size and beauty are humbling, and the opportunities for adventure and exploration are endless. Whether you're standing at the edge of the South Rim, hiking through the Inner Canyon, or rafting down the Colorado River, the Grand Canyon offers an experience that is both awe-inspiring and deeply rewarding. So pack your bags, lace up your hiking boots, and get ready to embark on a journey through time and nature at one of the world's most magnificent travel destinations.

This is a drivable adventure if you live in the United States mainland. The Digital Nomad Lifestyle: Embracing Freedom and Flexibility - Part of TWT Blog Series

East of The Sun, West of The Moon - May 28, 2025 Here at Travelers Who Travel Blog, we will be starting the TWT Blog Series, that focuses on becoming and being a digital nomad. As this is a growing opportunity that a lot of people are not aware of. Only a few smart ones have caught on to this type of working lifestyle and it is very rewarding. So sit back and relax and read on to see how you might just become a digital nomad yourself.

Hello there. How free it is to be a digital nomad. No, really. You get to travel to your favorite destinations, all the while working at your nearest coffee shop with wi-fi. Internationally, this has become the norm. As it should be. Here in America, most are still accustom to the 9-5. More people are working remotely. But what happens when you want more? More people are getting restless. They want more, then a normal 9 to 5 type of work existence and if you work remotely your half way there!

Your going many places as a digital nomad and here's how: Your going to first secure the bag(i.e. get a remote job, or are going to school in that country, or even buying an $1 home in Italy, yes they are still available, etc.).  It has been five years since the inception of the digital nomad visas. Plus, there are companies out there we are looking to partnered up with here at Travelers Who Travel, who offer health insurance worldwide. Welcome to your future!

Therefore, let's explore and define what a digital nomad lifestyle looks like. As mention, in my previous blog post. A digital nomad is someone who uses technology to work remotely, often while traveling or living in different locations. Digital nomads can be freelancers, entrepreneurs, or employees who have the flexibility to work from anywhere with an internet connection.

Here's the best part; the freedom and flexibility. Digital nomads have the freedom to work from anywhere, whether it's a beach in Bali, a café in Paris, or a co-working space in Berlin. This flexibility allows them to design their own schedules and live life on their own terms. By living and working in different countries, digital nomads have the opportunity to immerse themselves in new cultures, learn new languages, and broaden their perspectives.

So in a nutshell, your going to have to be a secure person within yourself, by yourself. For the single digital nomads out there. For families members, moving abroad together; will make it easier, for those who get lonely being by themselves.

The digital nomad lifestyle encourages personal growth and self-discovery. It challenges individuals to step out of their comfort zones, adapt to new environments, and become more resilient and independent. Also, digital nomads often can connect with like-minded individuals from around the world, creating a global network of friends, colleagues, and collaborators.

Now, I would be remissed, if I didn't talk about the challenges of the digital nomad lifestyle. Many people have tried and has failed. Just like any job, there will be uncertainty and instability: The digital nomad lifestyle can be unpredictable, with fluctuating income, changing time zones, and varying work environments. That's in any job today really.

Constantly moving from place to place can lead to feelings of loneliness and isolation, or an adventure to some. It's important for digital nomads to prioritize self-care and build a support network. Making a routine helps. When I was living in Mexico last year. I started meeting people, by having a daily routine. I came across the same people, thus being a familiar of the area and the people of the community.

Last but not least, visa and legal issues should be researched before making any travel plans. It's much easier in 2025 to navigating visa requirements and legal issues via chat gpt, or any other ai can help you with this. It's essential to research and comply with the laws of each country you visit.

So remember these Tips for Embracing the Digital Nomad Lifestyle:

1. Find Your Niche: Identify your skills and passions, and find a way to monetize them remotely.

2. Build a Strong Online Presence: Create a professional website and social media profiles to showcase your work and connect with potential clients or employers.

3. Invest in the Right Tools: Equip yourself with the necessary technology and tools to work efficiently and effectively from anywhere(i.e., laptops, power banks, USB cords, battery packs mobile wi-fi, etc.).

4. Plan Ahead: Research your destinations, budget wisely, and plan for unexpected challenges. Have at least 12 months of rent and food plan. Many countries have homes, apartments that include utilities, sometimes cable ad wi-fi.

5. Prioritize Self-Care: Maintain a healthy work-life balance, stay connected with loved ones, and take care of your physical and mental well-being.

The digital nomad lifestyle offers a unique blend of freedom, flexibility, and adventure. While it comes with its challenges, the rewards of living and working on your own terms are immeasurable. Whether you're a seasoned digital nomad or just starting to explore this lifestyle, embrace the journey and enjoy the ride. The world is your office – go out and explore it!

Happy Travel.

The Rise of Digital Nomadism

A Digital Nomad Working. In this blog post we dive in deep on how to become a digital nomad. No matter where you are from. Many opportunities awaits you.

East Of The Sun West of The Moon May 23, 2025 - In today's interconnected world, the traditional 9-to-5 office job is no longer the only path to a successful career. The rise of digital nomadism has opened up a world of opportunities for those seeking freedom, flexibility, and adventure. In this blog post, we'll explore the digital nomad lifestyle and delve into the many benefits it offers.

What is a Digital Nomad? A digital nomad is someone who leverages technology to work remotely, often while traveling or living in different locations. Digital nomads typically work in fields such as freelancing, consulting, online teaching, or running their own businesses. With just a laptop and a reliable internet connection, you can work from anywhere in the world.

One of the most significant advantages of being a digital nomad is the freedom to work from anywhere. Whether it's a beach in Bali, a café in Paris, or a co-working space in Chiang Mai, digital nomads have the flexibility to choose their workspace. This lifestyle allows for a better work-life balance, as you can tailor your schedule to fit your personal preferences and priorities. Just as this young lady, drinks on the beach while she teaches.

Working abroad instead of working indoors, or at an office is the new thing. Really, it stated ten years ago. The international workers adapted it. Now no matter where you live, as long as you a visa(digital visas are now available) and many if not all countries are accepting them. Follow TravelersWhoTravel.blogspot.com for more information on how to become one. Cheers!

Digital nomadism offers the opportunity to explore new cultures, cuisines, and landscapes. By living and working in different locations, you can immerse yourself in diverse experiences and broaden your horizons. This constant exposure to new environments can be incredibly enriching and inspiring. Or you can simply stay in on place at a time, it's totally up to you!

Living as a digital nomad requires adaptability, resilience, and problem-solving skills. Navigating different time zones, languages, and cultural norms can be challenging but ultimately fosters personal growth. Here at Travelers who Travel, we will soon showcase travel items that are commonly used as a digital nomad. You'll also, develop a greater sense of independence and self-reliance, which can be empowering and transformative.

Depending on your chosen destinations, being a digital nomad can be cost-effective. Many popular digital nomad hubs offer a lower cost of living compared to major cities in the United States or Europe. This can allow you to stretch your budget further, save money, or invest in experiences and personal development.

The digital nomad community is vast and supportive. By joining co-working spaces, attending meetups, and participating in online forums, you can connect with like-minded individuals from around the world. Subscribe to our tribe here at Travelers Who Travel™ to stay in the know. These connections can lead to collaborations, friendships, and valuable professional opportunities.

Many digital nomads report increased productivity due to the flexibility and autonomy of their work environment. Without the distractions of a traditional office, you can create a workspace that suits your needs and preferences. Additionally, the ability to work during your most productive hours can enhance efficiency and job satisfaction.

Digital nomadism can also have a positive environmental impact. By reducing the need for daily commutes and office spaces, digital nomads contribute to lower carbon emissions. Additionally, many digital nomads are conscious of their environmental footprint and strive to make sustainable choices while traveling.

While the digital nomad lifestyle offers numerous benefits, it's essential to be aware of the challenges and considerations. These may include:

  • Visa and legal requirements for working in different countries.
  • Time zone differences and maintaining communication with clients or colleagues.
  • Access to reliable internet and workspace facilities.
  • Healthcare and insurance coverage while abroad. Good news. We found a company who handles this for all ages. Stay tuned!
  • Maintaining a sense of stability and routine amidst constant change.

The digital nomad lifestyle is a rewarding and transformative way to live and work. It offers unparalleled freedom, flexibility, and opportunities for personal and professional growth. While it comes with its own set of challenges, the benefits far outweigh the drawbacks for those who embrace this way of life. If you're seeking adventure, independence, and a deeper connection to the world, consider joining the growing community of digital nomads.

Your journey awaits!

Happy Travels.

Don't Trip Just Get Dual Citizenship

Three Passports from the EU, Russia and United States laying on a white counter.

Updated May 28, 2025

Near The Border, SW - May 14, 2025  There's no need to relinquish or renounce your US nationality, So, don't trip just get dual citizenship.  I have mention in my last blog post 'real ID is in effect' about the May 7, 2025 deadline for the real ID. For those of us who frequently travel, we should have our ducks in a row by now🦆.  All others, people, please do not be ignorant and ignore(for those who do not have a driver license or state ids here in America) it's embarrassing, to say the least, but there are people who do not have these things. In the near future, you will need to get identification just to travel domestically.

Now, I know some of you are not really into having one, but how are you going to travel three months from now? Yes, less than 90 days. You have a limited time. And with the (45th), now 47th POTUS, in control, he's on a roll. With the DOGE. It's Trump 2.0 oh, say can you see?

In addition, if your traveling to the United Kingdom(UK) even if your just connecting flights and its not your final destination. You will need to fill out this form, before landing. Click here for the form. You will need to pay for the ETA(this is what they call it), which is $17.99 USD**. An electronic travel authorization (ETA) lets you travel to the UK for tourism, visiting family or certain other reasons for up to 6 months. An ETA costs 16.

It takes 3 business days(sometimes sooner).  This lasts for two years or until your passport expires which ever comes sooner. Only UK, Ireland and those with valid UK visas, do not need an ETA, nor do they need to pay this fee. This was supposed to goes into effect on April 2, 2025 for EU nationals, but has been extended. Stay tuned for updates on this blog post.

Also, know the laws and rules beforehand to any country that you or you and your group will travel to. You can run into trouble(without even knowing it) and you will have to abide in, that country; along with all its rules and regulations. Get travel insurance just in case.

To my  Americans brothers and sisters, believers and non-believers, watch your mouths and how you carry on. Or you can and will be denied access into certain locales(even if you have the proper paperwork). So do a little google research, to the countries your traveling to. Not fully understanding any particular countries laws, before traveling would make you: 'a big dummy'(said in my Fred Sanford voice). Common sense is not common anymore. You have been warned.

I don't want to sound, like a Debbie downer with all these new rules coming into effect. Just travel smart, that part.

I will update this blog later.

Happy Travels.

Real ID is in Effect

Real ID is in effect do you have yours? Most do, some do not. Go to your local DMV regardless if you drive or not. A real ID will be needed to travel domestic. Soon. Very soon.

From ID to Shining Real IDs SW - May 7, 2025  Hey there. Today is the day, you'll need to have real ID to fly domestically. Even if you have a valid ID, here in America and it does not have a Star(in my state) or might be a flag(in your state) on the top right corner, of your license or state identification. YOU CAN NOT FLY. Did I say it loud enough. YOU CAN NOT FLY.

You can only use your current standard state issued ids(without star or flag) for identification purpose only. See photo below.

A cartoon image of complaint vs. non complaint ids. Shows what is accepptable and what is not for the new real id.
TSA will not accept any ids without the star on it. Click here for acceptable identification at TSA checkpoints nationwide. There is something called enhanced driver's licenses. Five states issued them: Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Vermont, and Washington. This particular ID allows land and sea border crossings to Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean Islands ONLY. Washington is the only state in the union that have a star and a U.S. flag symbol on it.

Now, that it has been said. I recommend you get a passport(if you do not have one yet) and a passport card as back up. Even if you don't think you will be travelling anytime some. Rules of travel are changing everywhere. Please note: the passport card in America is for limited usage for a selective countries near or bordering the US. The recommendation for the passport card is for a back up, like just in case.

In the UK, starting sometime this year of 2025. ALL U.S. passport holders and the 60 other countries posted in the photo below. Will have to get an ETIAS, in order, to travel across the pond(Atlantic Ocean) this summer; to Europe (aka the UK) and all 30 European Providences. You will need a visa, the new ETIAS. This ETIAS is currently not in effect. It goes into effect in six months(6) after the EES Click here to go to website for full detailsThis is a heads up, prepare now. I don't hear any major of minor new outlets talking about this.

UK nationals and their family members who are beneficiaries of the Withdrawal Agreement are exempt from ETIAS: they may reside on the territory of their EU host country and travel to other European countries requiring ETIAS as long as they hold documents proving their status. There's a pdf downloadable files based off your country, click here. All 115 pages for those countries who are allowed. How about those apples? I'm definitely, going to, go into; this further in a another blog post. Don't let, not having an ETIAS, ruined your summer vacation this year. See if your country is listed below(click on photo to enlarge).

Countries Who Will Has To Have A Visa To Visit Europe. This is coming soon. This has been delayed several times. The new update is Fall of 2025. Stay tuned.

 Happy travels.
